I'm not saying he's at all benevolent, I'm saying we don't know he's pure evil. Like you said, that's not really the kind of villainy the show has gone for thus far. Besides, order vs. chaos isn't the same as good vs. evil.

Put things from previous generation in MLPFIM (or just popular things).

After turning to the dark side most of characters change name. Especialy if character is slave to some evil forces. Darth Vader or Locutus are examples.

Actually, it'll be the 30th anniversary. I... have no idea. Special edition G1 Applejack (or if they get the copyright/trademark back, Firefly)? An episode where they battle past (or expies of) villains?

Also, side note, I just found out that, unless Wikipedia is lying, My Little Pony is older than Transformers by 2 years!

Satanic Centaur, he turn every creature into monster. He was deafeated by Rainbow of L Ight, what was to cheesy and disopointing (but stuff before that was kinda cool).

Tirac is the original My Little Pony villain. Demon centaur thing with the Rainbow of Darkness. He turned Applejack into a dragon...thing. Nightmare Moon's The Night That Never Ends plot was essentially the same as Tirac's, in fact he's the Trope Namer!

. Its the same length as a FiM episode, and its not that bad...it is however still very 80's, if that means anything to you.

But I prefer Grogar episode (horever he also get beated in lame way).

It was pwned by Rainbow of Light, and that Raibow was't that badass

Yeah, its kinda an oxymoron. It is kinda cool though.

And Death Cloud, ya know the way Nightmare Moon was defeated was one big shout out to how Tirac was, only difference is Tirac died (presumably) and Nightmare returned to being Luna.
