@ginger You're not going to enjoy the series if you don't care about the protagonists.
@condo It does nothing for the plot overall. It's nice, but if you were watching the series for characters/plot, and not for enjoyment, it's skippable.

I'd hope he's used to us talking about emotional ties to protagonists by now. He talks about emotional ties to antagonists almost as much.

Maybe, they're all pretty dutiful.

An episode about laziness and procrastination?
What about an episode where Twilight learns to relax, takes it too far and falls behind and begins to panic?
So, it'd have to be an episode about Spike, or maybe Pinkie Pie.. those are the only two I could see possibly being lazy/procrastinaty

I don't think I've ever heard Aang described as a "punk". I mean, maybe in book 3, when he's being all Footloose, but...
I have a message from another time...

@Sky I never said I didn't care for them. Just that I'm not deeply connected to them

That's be a Spike episode for sure.

Ooh, good point. Spike is given a bunch of stuff to do by Twilight and decides they're easy enough for him to put it off and the episode is filled with all the interesting things he wants to do and all the things that reminds him of what he has to do causing guilt.
could totally see RD ding it, maybe Rarity too, putting off one thing for another, like with Twilight's dress in Sweet and Elite.
Maybe they get Pinkie to loaf off to, have fun instead of doing work.
Fluttershy would just do whatever her freinds were doing if they pressured hard enough
Twi and ESPECIALLY AJ would never.

I'd like to see a Day in the Limelight episode for one of the more minor characters.
A procrastination episode.... Applejack should do that! Because I'm the element of procrastination after all!

I can see that being a Spike episode, since he's very quick to dismiss stuff as "future-Spike's problem".
@ginger The way you worded it, it sounded like you didn't care about the protagonists at all.

Huh yea I forgot about Rainbow Dash.. she's least favorite pony... I could see her being lazy and procrastinating... sort of like an... I can do it fast so I leave it til last minute thing.

I think that there are ponies I like less than others, but I don't have a least favorite. Sort of...
@ Turtlebutter: -*cough*- I would NEVER do that!
RD is actually really competent. I mean, every time she's in some sort of leadership position, she seems to do it pretty well. She would probably be good in the military. I mean, the wonder-bolts are like Equestria's airforce
