@Red mentioning that star wars podracing n64 game last page or so

HOLY CRAP I REMEMBER THAT.

...I sucked horribly at it, IIRC. Although I did get fairly far, though.

You know, seeing the changlings has made me want to play the first StarCraft again. I have it, but I have never got around to finishing it yet... I should fix this.

In other news, my mom watched the season 2 finale. Her response? Wow, that's a little intense for a preschool girl.

Do a quick script search< I expect at least 8 times

Well the problem is that my script currently isn't capable of searching for links, so that'd take some work. Also, I'd have to figure out how to count both links and embeds.

Fi M isn't aimed at preschoolers. Tell your mom that.

@Yeller: source-dive and dig for the URL proper, I reckon that'd be quicker.

Can you even get access to a post's source text? There's no built in quoting functionality to allow for that.

No, all you can see is the HTML. Though if you take the trouble to reverse engineer the forum parser, you could probably reconstruct most of it. Comments and thumped posts are impossible to recover since they don't even show up in the html.

Yeller did say he downloaded the pages as HTML, so all he needs to do is open the pages as rawtext and dig through the source codes there.

Well, drawing doesn't require knowledge of grammar... sad

Sure helps, though!

@Pan: Not just that, I also blame it all on lazy fanfic writers who leave a trail of typos and poor compositions in their works [lol]

I do wonder why fanfic authors don't bother to get their works proofread.

I blame it on their pride or something.

Anyways it's easy to write Chrysalis as moe, if she's genuinely caring for her Changelings and was really desperate to get them a proper meal.

Part is pure laziness/lack of effort. The other part is a severe lack of proofreaders. Think of how many people are writing fics out there. How many of them would you trust to proofread your work? Out of that small amount, how many of them are actually willing to proofread your work? And out of that even smaller number, how many of them aren't up to their necks in proofreading requests already because lots of people got the same idea you did? It's hard, which is why I just read my own stuff over and over until I'm sure I got everything.

Well, I reckon if I get bitten by the fanfic bug somehow, I can leverage our fanfic thread for proofreads :D
