If that's the case, then I could make out their colors...

Puppet strings... Rarity's the one in the yellow circle, and Rainbow Dash is in the red circle... and Fluttershy is in the blue circle.

I don't think it's anyone tbh It's just showing off what Discord does

Celestia would point to it and say: "Discord manipulated the lives of unsuspecting ponies like they were puppets. Guiding them unknowingly into oblivion" or something like that

Do you think maybe Discrd kidnaps Luna? Both of the Princesses together seemed to be strong enough to defeat him. but if one of them was taken, then the mane cast would need to help out

My two cents:

I think brown dragon = Discord disrupting harmony between sun and moon (both are at his feet)

White dragon = Discord as a white stone imprisoned

Balls and strings = Discord manipulating ponies

Who else is hoping that Luna's aid will be paramount to defeating Discord? As in, she confronts him for what he did in the past.

I mean, Lauren suggested that something exacerbated Luna's jealousy to the point that she became Nightmare Moon, and Discord sounds like a major candidate.

I think it'd be the best way to re-introduce Luna.

Physical strength and an imposing appearance aren't the most important components for being a manipulator. Charisma is what you want (and magic, I suppose).

That's part of what I mean. He doesn't look like the manipulative type. He has to be a shape shifter. No one would trust him as he looks in the glass

It does seem prettier than usual. (And it was pretty to start with.)

I don't think the windows are giving away the episode's plot, but it does seem to infer a lot of Equestria's history.

Actually, the consummate manipulator is one who never appears on-screen until the cards are down. This being a children's show, however, I think we'll see his true form fairly early.

Judging by the fact that a few of the screenshots we've seen come from inside Celestia's palace, it seems to be hinting that Discord makes a grand reappearance (presumably in his true form) before somehow escaping and getting down to the business of being a Manipulative Bastard
