It might be because Pinkie was being a bit condescending. I mean, I know I'd be kinda annoyed if somebody younger than me patted me on the head and said "Don't worry, Auntie Pinkie will take care of everything."

Still, that's the only time she's ever really expressed any kind of negative emotion towards any of her friends

What, the timid, shy character isn't allowed to have a certain range of emotion? Shame on you! That's what makes these characters feel more rounded!

I had no problem with her expressing said emotion, I was merely remarking that her display seemed very isolated, and maybe that it was hinting at a certain level of dislike that Fluttershy has for Pinkie.

^I get the feeling that Fluttershy might not really know how to act around Pinkie. They're basically opposites in terms of sociability, after all, and Pinkie's outgoing enough that she makes other sociable ponies uncomfortable.

yeah as you may remember everyone on the mane cast has someone they have trouble getting along(theiir oposites).

1. Rarity and AJ have trouble getting along
2. Twilight has trouble understanding Pinkie Pie
3. Pinkie Pie seems to overprotect fluttershy and that puts a barrier between them.
4. Rainbow dash is the one that understands the least Twilight mainly becuase she is intelectual instead of athletic

That was due to her (very justified might I add) fear of the dragon at the top of the mountain when it roared, more than a fear of heights

I always found Fluttershy's "I'm a year older than you" response to "Auntie Pinkie Pie" amusing on a personal level.

A couple of years back, I went to a family reunion that consisted mostly of my late grandmother's side of the family. I learned that my father's oldest brother was a year younger than one of my late grandmother's many younger sisters whom said brother went to high school with. In other words, my uncle went to high school with his aunt. And if I recall correctly she wasn't even the youngest of my grandma's sisters!

So, It is quite possible to be older or of similar age of your dear auntie. I have proof!

It was more than just the Auntie line though, she looked pissed from the second Pinkie starts to speak to her

But the shots are in different areas of the palace, implying that whatever it was that made Celestia put her game face on, was maybe able to BEAT her. That's a scary (and AWESOME) thought.

Sorry, just asking a question about a Fanfic.

A few months ago there was posted A fanfic AU of My little Pony, where Nightmare Moon won the battle between sisters and Twilight (here called Midnight, I think) became her apprentice.

Now in the world of Eternal night, Midnight? along with the rest of the mane cast (nun fluttershy, mayor rarity, soldier dash, debauchery socialite pinky and applejack) must save the Dark queen from the Helion queen and bring peace to equestria...

Does anybody remember the name of the Fic. I have tried to find it but so far I had no success, from Equestria Daily to Devian art (which was the original format) so if somebody could reference it for me, I would be very thankful.
