I just rewatched the finale in HD and I noticed something I missed before. In the flashback to Cadance's foalsitting, you can see Smarty Pants. Nice touch!

I think MLP-FIM, when it ends, should end like that show. All the Villians that have been introduced over the years closing in on the Mane 6, who are wearing the Elements and ready to fight. A good old Bolivian Army Ending!

@ Blue we didn't see it, but again what I love SO SO much about the show is they don't feel the need to show you everything, they just accept that we are smart enough to know stuff is happening, even if we don't see it on screen.

And it is so consitatn and well portrayed that it nearly all stands up, We're not being told a story, we're looking through a window and momnets in the lives of the ponies. All we see id what they see, not what some unknowable god of Narrative Design says we should see.

Which brings up a good point, other then an occasional scene of Celestia recieving and reading Twi's report, have we seen anything that wasn't within the POV of either a Mane 6 or a CMC?
