@ Blue, it's obvious Rarity made a big deal that she was NOT to wear the hat and mess up the entire ensamble. So the instant she saw Rarity was to teary eyed to see, she put it on, AJ just don't feel right without her hat.
again THIS is why I bucking LOVE the writers so much, all the tiny tiny litttle things that show there is way more going on then we see, it makes Equestria feel like a real living world, not just a story.
