@condo After getting thwarted, Celestia is going to be a lot more suspicious of ponies behaving oddly, so it'll be harder to infiltrate Canterlot. Also, I doubt the changelings can defeat the Equestrian Army in a straight battle.

One thing I will give Kid Icarus Uprising credit for is having both Thanatos and Hades in it and address both of them with the accurate title.

Other than that, it's only slightly more accurate than Disney's Hercules.

Oooh, a Daedalus analogue could be fun too. One of the Mane 6 creates something that has specific instructions. She gives it to somepony else to use, tells them the directions, and then, of course, they break them. The lesson is that one should not run with scissors.

The thing about Daedalus is that people forget about him. They use Icarus in analogies about not aiming too high and forget that you're allowed to Take a Third Option.

Ha, Running with Scissors is also a book. I haven't read it, but I read the one written by his brother. I have it autographed.

Why don't you want any of the villains to appear again. If it was done right I think it'd be awesome

I'm not completely against it. If it was done further down the line, when there are more good villains to appear (I DON'T think Nightmare Moon should return), or if it was done where a new villain gathered the others and took charge, that would be fine. I just want the show to keep making quality villains, not start recycling them.

About Daedalus: I think they can rework the lesson so that it is to follow the instructions someone gives you because they are often there for a reason.

I don't think it's supposed to be serious. From what I've seen, it's not serious AT ALL.

The problem with people getting upset about people contradicting mythology is that mythology contradicts ITSELF. People can get a free pass as long as they're entertaining.
