Oh, you made me remember the Library now. I'm gonna cry.

Why The Library? Why not Appa's Lost Days?

Ok, so the Gates of Tartarus will open. Then what?

[up]Because I'm sorry Appa...

@Ilsemmer:Well the fight against the Changelings was pretty much a war, complete with an inside terrorist attack and attempted assassination.

@story That scene at the end was really sad. Also, Appa's Lost Days was cool, since it didn't focus on the main characters.

Hmmm.... I'm trying to think of other Greek myths. I'm hoping they avoid all the rape-y ones. There's also a Hades/Persephone play where the God of Death falls in love with a young girl. Except it would be creepy as hell. (Ha! Unintentional puns ftw)

I know Greek mythology the best, and unfortunately, there are too many stories of rape, murder, and death to make good children's programming.

[up][up] True, it's just hard to imagine a children's program giving warfare the respectful and mature tone it deserves...

When she descended into the below place, I figured they were going with a Tartarus angle, but that was jossed pretty quick.

[up] I love the one where Artemis feeds a guy to his dogs for trying to see her naked. It's funny.

Do you think all of the Greek myths about Tartarus got ponified exactly? Cerberus was pretty much the same as in the myths.

I figured it was a paralell dimension or something.

Hades is not the God of Death. That's Thanatos.

Hades is the RULER of the LAND of the dead.

If G4 is alternate continuity, then I expect there are no humans and never will be. I do remember hearing about humans being in previous gens, tho

[up][up] And I hate when things get Hijacked By Jesus, too.

Well, the changelings seem to have their own mini-world that looks barren (where the shield kind of flings them off to) so I suspect that Tartarus is a physical realm like the Everfree Forest.

[up][up] I'm not sure if that reaction is good or bad...

[up] G1 had a female human main character

@ginger For a second I wondered who on Earth could like Azula. Then I remembered you were you.

Anyway, I like the fights in Zuko Alone. Also, that pregnant couple in the beginning shows up again next episode.

@ Pipping: Woops. Sorry. Yeah, ruler over the dead. It seems that even though I took a mythology class, I can't remember a detail like that XD

She may come back for a less epic battle in her weakened state, I think.

@condo Azula was a bit too much of a Complete Monster for me.

Also, I'd say not. Team Rocket gets launched over the horizon nearly every episode and they're still fine.

The problem is that it is strange to me that the power of love would kill something, even a (possible- but I sure as heck don't think it's likely) Complete Monster

No villain has ever been killed in this show.

@Blue Why don't you want any of the villains to appear again. If it was done right I think it'd be awesome

It's just that if she's NOT dead and she doesn't come back (as I suspect she might) it would leave us with a lot of leftover Fridge Logic.
