It seems to me like the room should be warded against teleportation. ESPECIALLY after the Discord incident.

Also, if anyone else besides Celestia would be able to work that lock, it would be Twilight (or maybe Luna). Heck, I'd put money on Twilight being able to unlock that door herself, being Celestia's personal student and all.

Yeah, from what I seen, Twi can learn pretty much any magic...so cracking that lock may not be such a big problem after all.

There are many ways for "only I can break it" to happen. One of them is you being the only one strong enough to do it. The other is you being the only one who knows the password (or in this case, unlocking spell).

The latter can be passed along by teaching someone the "password", which is what I think happened.

Well, Twilight can certainly closely imitate just about any kind of magic, but I'm actually starting to think she can never be quite as effective as someone casting a spell directly related to their special talent. In fact, the finale just gave us two examples of spells she can't do as well as their original users: Shining Armor's shield spell (she's only managed relatively small shields), and Cadence's love spell (Want It Need It can only induce blind desire, not encourage true love). In essence, she's pretty much a Master of None when it comes to magic.

An easy way to reason the Discord example out is that Discord didn't steal the elements from the chamber, he stole them when they were brought out of the chamber.

@ Condo: The problem with making them to inaccessible is that the heroes wouldn't be able to get them.

Note: When sealed behind a magical door the heroes don't get them. When in a random book or castle anyone could get to, the heroes do get them.
