@ Red: 1) Evil has needs as well.
2) Another evil pony? A pony who happened to love Nightmare Moon?
3) Why not?
4) Evil can use and feel love as well.
5) Proof?
6) Blueblood is a unicorn. Cadence is an Alicorn. More basis for blood relation.
1) Yeah, and Nightmare Moon's were 'destroy Equestria'. I sincerely doubt an immortal goddess of vengeance felt the ticking of her biological clock while she was trying to bring about eternal night.
2) ...I'm sorry, but that just sounds like the setup for a
terrible OC, not a real character.
3) Okay, let's imagine this, then. Celestia and Nightmare Moon are battling in the darkened skies over Equestria. The landscape below them is blasted and pitted, and light sparks in the clouds as spells powerful enough to vaporize stone scorch their hides. Celestia looks much younger than she does in the present time; her mane and tail are the pink of the sky at dawn. Five stones, glowing with internal light, circle her head, and a crown rests just behind her horn. Nightmare Moon is a fearsome figure in dark blue platemail; her mane is studded with stars, and darkness swirls around her body like a shroud.
She's also heavily pregnant. Yeah, makes tons of sense.
4) I said
true love. 'Using' love is directly opposed to what Cadenza represents. And remember that love, friendship and harmony are diametrically opposed to evil, discord and chaos in this universe.
5) The fact that she grew up as Twilight did? If she hadn't reached full height in a millennium, the ten years between the time she babysat Twilight and the wedding wouldn't have made her grow to adulthood.
6) Like I said, there are some questions to ask that we don't have the answers to. That doesn't mean we should just jump to silly conclusions.
