Twilight briefly loses her sanity when trying to "rebuild Ponyville in an hour" in "Swarm Of The Century"
Less than a minute, actually.
Is it odd that I think Twilight can actually build an entire replica of Ponyville in an hour using her magic?
But apart, all we are is just a pile of mush and some crumbly dry mess...

I don't think she alone could, but with the whole town helping her, I think it's possible.
Pinkie does the most singing out of all the main characters. I was wondering if, in-universe, she's actually supposed to be that a good singer. Her singing is portrayed as grating a lot of the time.
and in Over A Barrel I'm not sure if it's her singing that pissed off the buffalo, or if it was just the lyrical content of that one particular song.
btw I love Pinkie's singing voice (Misa Amane ftw)

What if Twilight did duplicate the Generation 3 Ponyville, and Pinkie Pie moved there at some point, so that's why she suddenly had new friends we'd never seen before and never saw her old ones? Only, Twilight must have built it out of protomatter, and so it degraded over the following months.

@Ginger: It's less that her voice is grating, and more that she breaks into songs at absurd times and that what she sings is usually ridiculous.

Its quite amazing that this little girl can bust out a gospel tune.
That reminds me, I was looking at Dawson Casting and noticed that some of the examples listed mentioned that the cases where child characters are played by child actors often get replaced eventually because they, well, grow up faster than the characters. Think that might happen with Apple Bloom's voice actress Michelle Creber?

Yeah that's the one. Well she was working particularly hard in that episode, maybe her eyesight wanes with fatigue.
Those aren't glasses, they're most likely magnifying lenses, essentially reading glasses. Helps her see stitches better.

Pinkie's voice is definitely to most seamless. Seriously, I had no idea that the show even used alternate voices for the singing, she was so good
I also really like Rarity's, though I have to say it sounds barely anything like the Rarity's real voice. It just sounds way too low

Well, in the first case, she was panicking and in the second she was hugely embarrassed.
I don't think either count as breakdowns. The first example maybe, but that was more panic as flat out losing it.

I can think of a few instances where Twilight loses it due to the conflict of the episode. The Ticket Master, Look Before You Sleep, Swarm of the Century, Winter Wrap Up, and Feeling Pinkie Keen should come to mind.
Of course, episode 10 seems to be the one everyone focuses on the most.

^ Pinkie Pie used Confusion! It's super effective! it's funny, because Pinkie is, well, pink, one of the Psychic type's primary colors.
My question on that moment is WHY DID HER WHOLE BODY CHANGE COLOR?
