Eh. I only ship for the sake of a story - and thus, never among the mane cast. I suppose there are some possibly cute pairing, like Rarishy, but on the whole I don't concern myself with them.

I've always been partial to Twixie, because I love the candy bar.

They don't actually interact much in the show, do they? Hopefully we'll see some of that in season 2, their personalities are pretty different so it should be interesting.

It's probably her personality. She's pretty calm most of the time, so she ends up being overshadowed by the crazier ponies.

That's something I've been wondering about actually. I figure her family has lived in Ponyville for several generations at least. So why is her family the only one in Ponyville with a southern accent?

Maybe accents work differently in Equestria, and they run in the family, rather than natrually developing based on where you live.

Sweet Apple Acres is kind of out of the way. Members of the family would, during their formative years, mostly be exposed to their own family's speech patterns, and thus would learn to speak that way. So the accent does, indeed, run in the family.
