@ L, no it doesn't, becuase ponies never saw a reason to specify that there is any gender necessity for marriage in the first place and wouldn't give a buck enough about it to go as far as to actually think of there being a difference between same and opposite sex couples. therefore there is not such thing as "Gay marriage" there is only marriage.

It's largely because we don't like the idea of chance determine governmental power, or the risk of a leader becoming corrupt after to long in office or becoming otherwise unfit and there being no way to remove him or her.

We favor democracy so much because it ensures that if nothing else the goverment will be a reflection of the common opinions and wishes of the public. Setting weather or not that's a good thing aside, it's extremely important to us.
