@isle: Okay, given the context I wasn't sure whether you meant to link to Gag Series. And yeah, I've never experienced anything remotely like that, so I can't really relate to it much. A big aspect of reading for me is trying to put myself into the protagonist's position and ask what I would do in that situation. And for something like that it's difficult, if not impossible.

@Orion Well, I've been one my whole life. I can't say I haven't thought about what it would be like to be a pegasus or unicorn, but I'm fine being an Earth Pony. Same with you about being a Pegasus?

That actually sounds kinda like what I had a week ago, only way worse. I still haven't fully regained my sense of smell, though.

Did you fully recover, or do you still have issues with it?

@Miss C: I love being a pegasus. I was asking mainly because I never really know what's it's like not having wings. Much like how you don't think what it would be like being the other, I don't think what it would be like not having wings.

...hmm... maybe I should try not using my wings for a week (aside for flying back to my house) and see what it's like.

Speaking of Final Fantasy, I finished the first Kingdom Hearts earlier tonight. Gotta love that nostalgia. Also, as random as it was, fighting Chernabog to Night on Bald Mountain is probably one of the coolest boss fights ever.

Like Mass Effect, Kingdom Hearts seems like one of those series that would be way too easy to cross over with ponies. Hell, the way that they crossed over with Lion King in the second game even sets a precedent for that kind of situation.
