Dash has a lot of impressive tricks, but she's also crashing into stuff half the time. And why does everyone think Soarin' is dumb? He's just really likes pie.

[up][up] We haven´t seen the Wonderbolts get serious yet (outside of Sonic Rainboom, but even then I think they let their guard down around Rarity) So we don´t know what they´re capable of. RD is aware of her abilities, yet idolizes those of the Wonderbolts as well, they must be damn good.

[up] He forgot that he had said pie in his mouth at one point. I don´t think he´s stupid, he just seems a LOT more lax than the others.

[up]Okay, fair enough. And you're right, we haven't really seen the Wonderbolts in action yet. That's something I'd like next season, is to see at least part of their show.

We don't know how many times Wonderbolts crash during trenings.

RD have problem with focus and she get nervous easly,
They are like the others. Strange, hideous, resisting, fighting. Only these were not like the others. They did not die.

As I said, RD racing the Wonderbolts, ending in a final bout with Spitfire would be awesome

For some reason I think we´re going to have Spitfire revealing that she was once a lot like Rainbow Dash when she was younger

^^Well, true, but that's during training. Crashing to learn where you need to improve is the point. Dash didn't do too well in the Young Flyers of Equestria competition, though; she was too nervous in front of a crowd, and no matter how good she is alone, it's what she can do on the stage that's important to whether she can join the Wonderbolts yet.

RD has more than enough skill to do whatever the hell she wants. But the best? For some reason I doubt that.

She could always distract him with pie.

Hm, which kind of pie would distract him more?...

I imagine Soarin' is the lovable goof of the team, but goes into full blown Chuck Yeager mode when on the job. He does remain fairly calm in "Sonic Rainboom"

Also... did you know Lyra TALKS in the Italian dub? Seriously. She says "Ciao (Hello)!" when she waves hi to Twilight, where before she's silent.

[up]Is Italian less concise than English? Because is seems like everyone is rushing to cram in all their dialogue.

English is one of the most concise languages on earth. It averages very few syllables per meaning.

For example.

English: We ran.

Spanish: Nosotros corremos. or Corremos.

Good for conciseness and synonyms (mainly because it plunders other languages for words)

It kinda sucks at grammar and rhyming though.

not to mention having some ludicrously specific words compared to some languages, I hear. A few languages take three or four words to mean the same as a single English word.

That must be a huge pain in the ass for dubbers.

And hey, we can rhyme just fine. It just doesn't sound nearly as good as other languages.

Well, I find that we sound perfectly fine when we rhyme. But a large problem may be the largely germanic origins - it's a very choppy sounding language, which don't tend to flow very well...

The problem with English rhyme is you end up sounding like Dr. Seuss. Romance languages can write epic poems full of rhyme, but good luck doing that in English and getting taken seriously.

Not to mention that languages like, say Spanish can get lots of rhyming mileage just from conjugating verbs in the same way. English doesn't exactly have as much room to do that.

Italian is a rather nonconcise language, yes. Verbs average more syllables, and when you start changing tenses it only gets worse.

[up][up]That's the kind of thing I mean; romance languages conjugate verbs by adding endings onto words, so it's much easier to find rhymes. In English, all rhymes just happen sort of by accident. Like two words just happen to sound alike. Unlike in say, Spanish, where you can just take two otherwise non-rhyming words and conjugate them the same and get a rhyme. I remember having to translate a Neruda poem into English once, and I had to just drop the rhyme scheme because you couldn't do it in English without making it sound like a nursery rhyme.

(Note: I know nothing about linguistics, so I probably misused just about every term that I utilized there)

There are at least a dozen Wonderbolts.

There are eleven right here

Since they fly in groups of three or six, a dozen makes sense.

Speaking of jobs, I find myself wondering what Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy do to earn money.

I mean, Applejack's obvious, Dash appears to be a weather worker, Rarity runs her boutique, and Twilight is either a scholar or grad student. However, I can't quite tell if Pinkie works at Sugar Cube Corner, or if she's just renting an apartment above it. Meanwhile, Fluttershy's little animal hospital appears to be an altruistic venture, unless the various animals are capable of paying her for services rendered.

[up][up]My guess is that there's like a Primary Team that's the most well known, and there are other sort of "backup" Wonderbolts who aren't as well known as the main team.

[up][up]Word of Faust is the Cakes sort of see her as a daughter and let her live up there. Not sure if she gets paid, since she seems to cause quite a bit of mayhem around the store. She probably eats as much as she bakes.
