@Blue Not always. Not anymore. As I said, my problems with her mostly stem from the way she resolves episodes, the way she gets away with being a c-word because she's innocently insensitive, and her fans
"Contests fought between two masters are decided instantly. An invisible battle is now raging between the two of them." Lulu vs Schneizel
I still think that Pinkie went so overboard that it was almost OOC. I mean, she's usually shown as pretty good at making ponies happy, you'd think she'd realize that she was just making him angry.
@Bluespade: I was annoyed that Matilda was just a convinent way for pinkie to get on Cranky's good side without actually having to change her behavior.
Oh boy...
Yeah, that bugged me too. I really wish that Pinkie would have befriended him without continuing to bother him. It kinda annoyed me that the whole episode was basically showing that it was bad to pester someone, and then she ended up succeeding anyway.

I think it's just a problem in general with writing Pinkie's character type in any serial medium. It's hard to NOT have them go from 'wacky' to 'annoying' after a certain period of time. I'm not sure anyone has quite cracked that yet.

She was just dialed up to maximum, she'd never had anyone actively REFUSE to be her friend anymore so she panicked and went crazier than usual. Oddly, the way she acted in that episode is what made me actually like her for the first time.@Mio:I know, I just don't actually care about the moral/educational aspect of the show. It's a quirk of mine.
She usually falls on the amusing side to me, the problem is when she's supposed to be annoying; it goes from "annoying in-universe but amusing to the viewer" to just "annoying" really quickly.
@Blue: My main issue is that she was so pushy in the episode it made it kinda hard for me to believe that everypony in the town really would be her friend if that's how she treated everyone. I dunno, it just felt like she was trying too hard.

It just annoys me that you just have to get used to Pinkie. Oh, no. Pinkie herself shpuld never change. People have to bend to her.
Seriously, I wanted to deck her so hard when she was basically like "How dare someone NOT consider me their best friend on sight"

That wasn't really her reaction though. She honestly didn't understand why.
Element of Dullness.

@Blue Which is worse. Far. FAR worse for me. and exactly what I'm on about with regards to being innocently insensitive.
forget it, no one understands.
