Who's seen the episode other than Seth? His is the only sort of review I've seen so far.

I recall some minor annoyance directed at Pipsqueak around when the episode came out, but never a lot and I didn't see any hate.

Aw crap I just brought up another episode where Pinkie Pie is being incredibly annoying (And almost antagonistic too!)

was there any acting in this series WORSE than Pipsqueak's?

Bon Bon. Although at this point that's practically a running gag.

Apparently someone from the L Aweekly and NY Times has seen it already.

@Crow REALLY? I always thought her actual acting was pretty good (and I thought her latest voice was pretty sweet too )

Pipsqueak's pirate act was pretty poor, but he's a kid, what do you expect?

Well I got my homework done with less than 20 minutes to spare. My procrastination is getting worse and worse.

@Ginger: Okay, the more recent ones are fine, just inconsistent. But you can't tell me her "I didn't put those in my bag, " was anything but hilariously off.

I've actually taking a likely to kid voice actors.

But seriously why complain about A Friend In Deed pinkie pie when she was MUCH worse in Luna Eclipsed

except you all need to keep in mind what Pinkie's definition of "friend" is. She uses the term much much more casually then anyone else does, to her "Friend" isn't some person you are close to, it's "Anypony that is not openly antagonistic to me."

And yes there have been instances of characters being hostile to her, but the thing that separated them from Cranky was that Cranky was moving into Ponyville, not just visiting like Gilda, or not at all related to like the buffalo. Pinkie prides herself on the fact that every pony in ponyville is her "friend" by which she means "I know there name and they smile and say hi to me when I say hi to them"

Cranky was moving into Ponyville and so fell into the, "Is my friend becuase he lives in Ponyville" category, many other ponies may have just smiled, said thank you to Pinkie for welcoming them and just went on with there day, Cranky is the first on to actaully say "I don't want to be your friend", which is really the ONLY way Pinkie would not consider somepony to be her friend.

Yes some the desperation attempts get a little eye rolling, but the only one I really thought went to far and no way she shouldn't know better was blaring out that Cranky needed a wig to all of town, the rest felt very in character. And remeber she DID accept that Cranky just didn't want to be her friend, and she realized she had gone to far. Which is progress for her, at that point it shifted from "Must make him my friend" to "Must apologize for my screw up" She just failed to realize it was the exact same actions that got her in trouble in the first place.

Yeah, but even so... the kid playing Pipsqueak sounded bad. Like the actor himself was doing very poorly

@ Pre-screening-The event was mostly for press, Seth was invited to represent the Brony community, rest were reporters and some local children./families.

@ LE pinkie, she was not worse at all, yes her actions made things worse but SHE HAD NO WAY OF KNOWING! she wasn't around to see any of the results of her running in terror, soon as Twi explained it to her, she stopped. You can't hold ponies responsible becuase they didn't act on information they had no way of knowing.
