And speaking about VA - I'm sad that they not use Tara Strong that much, she is Twilight but she could at least play some minor charater sometimes. Horever she propably played some background ponies, I'm allmost sure that she played Bon Bon in Photo Phinish episode.

Yeah, that's just Internet 101.

If it exists, there'll be at least one person who loves it and one person who hates it.
You're never the only one. If you love it, someone else loves it. If you hate it, someone else hates it.

While yes, the more prominent the fandom, the more prominent the hatedom (usually), that doesn't really mean anything. So what if if more people hate/love it, at least you love/hate it and can communicate with others who matespritize/kisemsize with it.

Yeah, paraspriting is what trolling's called in the fandom. It also doubles as a name for the hatedom, which is why I don't really think it's appropriate to use here. He's just saying it's overhyped, which is a reasonable opinion to hold.

I don't know if I want the background ponies to get prominent roles in an episode. A line or two is fine, but it might be better if those ponies are left to fanon.

But if they do, i'd want Derpy, Lyra, Carrot Top, Octavia, and Bon Bon.

It is a bit weird. They have a bunch of colors and mane styles that they just mix and match, yet somehow all the extras look unique and interesting.

I'm more surprised that Sarah & Lee Kanker was G3 Pinkie.

Also, of the background ponies with their own entries on the character page, the only ones that haven't uttered a single word (if you don't count crowd songs) are Lyra & DJ Pon3, and DJ's only appears once. Ditzy may have had one word, but Lyra hasn't spoken a word outside of song.... which is actually kinda fitting if you think about it.

Basically, I want to see more Lyra, but I'd like them all to stay as background ponies if for nothing else to make our jobs here easier when it comes to classifying characters.

Greatest and most positive suprise for me was fact that Twilight Sparkle , mane character of this show is voiced by Tara Strong. Now two favorite female cartoon characters Raven and Twilight are played by same VA. They both also are socialy akward magical girsl, with love of books and great power what they can lose control about it, and purple hair.

It might have to do with her recording her lines all the way in LA as opposed to doing them in Canada. Most of the actors are from Anime dubs... you know, I don't know how the business works, just that Tara Strong stars is in every major American cartoon ever, and a couple of very good video games.

Also, its somewhat bugging me, but is it Tabitha subbing for Twilight in this video? If so, add to that to the list of characters (even if its not the final release)

It would be awesome if in the background of one episode, DJ Pon-3, Octavia, and Lyra performed on stage. Better yet, they could be Pinkie Pie's backup band.
