No, but I have work, so my best chance to actually watch the show is to catch the during-the-week reruns. But in all seriousness, I'm probably just going to wait for them to show up on Youtube, which I'm assuming will be roughly fifteen minutes after they air anyway.

That and I don't get the Hub, so it kinda doesn't matter.

Today I learned that Jack Of All Trades doesn't like walnuts.

Anyway, since there was a discussion about Derpy's name the other day, Jason Thiessen is answering questions on Reddit,

and says that the team refers to her as Derpy. Not that I expect that to show up in the show itself. She'll probably remain an unnamed background pony, at least officially.

I still call her Ditzy, because Derpy Hooves doesn't really sound like an actual pony name. It's too...internet-y

I sort of agree, but I'm too used to calling her Derpy by this point to change. It probably doesn't matter, I doubt they'll refer to her by name in the show itself.

Interestingly enough, he later responds to the question "Is it Derpy Hooves or Ditzy Doo" with "1> you tell me.. you guys named her"

This seems to suggest that while they call her Derpy in the office she won't be addressed on screen and she'll remain mostly a fanon character. That or he's toying with us, I wouldn't put it past him.

Also...

Q: Is Applejack really made of dark matter, as speculated here?
A: she is actually the remnants of a collapsed star from the delta quadrant

I just don't think it works for the character. As the character sheet for the show says "Her hooves aren't very derpy. She IS, however, a doer of ditzy things"
