[up]I think it has something to do with the fact that he feels it's massively overrated, and that he feels pressured to watch it when everybody else is talking about how epic it is. Which I admit can be annoying (*coughconstantavatarderailscough*)

EDIT: Pagetopper.

[up] So it's basically Hype Aversion?
The Eleventh Doctor is cool.

That combined with Ginger being Ginger. You know how picky he is. tongue He got sick of everybody constantly recommending the series to him even though he had zero intention of watching it.

He also hates how everything about the series is spoilers.

Wow, poor, poor Edgeworth. Noone ever tells him about important evidence, like the fact that the victim was mudered at same time in a completely different place!

As far as PMMM, the less spoilered you are, the better.

Really weird coincidence about the Madoka discussion, and lately I was considering to watch the series out of curiosity.

Cause you know, Magical Girls apparently getting into Cosmic Horror Story shenanigans. Or so I heard...

@The Freeman: As I said, it's my favourite piece of fiction, so I can only recomend it.

@Story: PMMM is one of the few series that I will go out of my way to not spoil if I think someone will watch it. Both because seeing their reactions are priceless, and because the story as a whole is way more interesting that way. I'm really glad that I was able to watch it as it came out rather than getting spoiled.

[up][up]Watch it. It's extremely dense and has a few characterization issues, but I absolutely love the way it toys with the viewers. Although I do suppose it appeals to a rather specific niche.

Which is kind of unfortunate, in my case. I only got interested in seeing it after getting spoilered on a thing or two.

Some great WTF moments were missed.

Maybe I could borrow that spell to go back in time to warn myself not to read spoilers.

I don't care for Madoka and I will never watch it.
Because he know I'm going to go out in this plane and I'm going to remove one of His creations from His universe.

[up][up]Nah, you'd get cut off halfway through, prompting your past self to look up the spoilers to see what the fuss was about.

And you'd also have an eyepatch, just because.

@Japenese Teeth What do you mean by "extremely dense"?

If I could go back in time to tell my past self about shows, I suppose I'd tell myself to start watching MLP earlier. Assuming of course that I can't use it for something important like stock prices or warning people about disasters.

^ Well it's very emotional.

Well summer's coming up soon, I'll probably start watching then. More free time on my hands.

If I had to hazard a guess, it's how pretty much every episode will make you go WTF for some plot-related reason.

Extremely dense in that it's a lot of plot in a short period of time. My biggest criticism is that a couple of characters are forced to rush their Character Development to the point that it seems unrealistic due to time constraints.

Well, I had to restart the stream, so it'll be a while before I see any more Madoka. The funny thing is, I think mild spoilering actually made Akemi a bit creepier for me.

Also, other people's reactions is one of the reasons I've gotten my dad to play Hatoful Boyfriend. Still waiting for one of the bigger Whams, though.tongue

@Purple: Basically, a lot happens in each episode. After episode 3 or so, pretty much every episode is a Wham Episode, and there are usually several Wham Lines in each. For the most part it works really well, although as Sereg noted it means that some of the characterization feels a bit rushed because so much is being crammed in.

[up]Okay, I read the page for that and what.

You know, I always had this character in my head that can sort of rewind time the way Homura can.

'Course, my idea didn't involve zombies and entropy.

I feel bad for Homura. It's like a self-imposed Groundhog Day Loop.

@ginger's hatred: It's also due to the fact that, since there's no "villain" for him to focus on, he can't bring himself to watch it.

@JT You'd be surprised. I think Kayeka's played it too...

I don't think I'd reccomend it for ginger, though.

Try approaching it from a non-romantic way...
