The scene where the Other Mother makes Coraline The Offer is probably one of my favorites scenes of both the book and the movie. So damned creepy!

Spink and Forcible were hilarious though, being former burlesque dancers and all their little Scotties and all.

Ginger: That raises a good point, maybe it works the same way Jareth's power worked in Labyrinth? It only affects you so long as you accept that it has power over you?

I can't remember the exact wording of the offer, but the gist was "you can stay here with me and the other father forever so long as you do as I say and replace your eyes with buttons." Of course, she presents the button eyes as a present wrapped in a bow and everything <shudder>

Hm.. Maybe Big Mac would be Mister Bobo/Bobinski. I'm not sure about Forcible or Spink, Maybe Granny Smith for one of the two? Another question is if we're including Wieby.

I never liked Caroline. Really I don't like claymation much, it find it freaky to look at.

I saw Nightmare Before Christmas when I was like...four....and it scared me for life XD

Recently in life I have grown to appreciate it, but I would refuse to be in the same room it was playing in for years my fear was so strong XD

I actually liked Monster House. I'm not sure what the general consensus for it was though. It had an odd suburban feel to it that I really liked

I prefer Tim Burton's live action stuff, or when he collaborates. I also think his wife is an amazing actress XD
