I liked her too. She was such a selfish bitch. But sometimes selfish and bitchy characters are more memorable than those big emperor dudes.

The Element of Procrastination
@ilse... I felt (a little) sorry for her... (gets shot)

I consider her a
Magnificent Bitch personally

I know it's only some thirty seconds and isn't really a villain song, but I'm fond of The Other Father's song from Coraline, it's catchy.

@ Ginger: I felt in some ways bad for her. She was clearly unhealthily obsessed with staying young. What she did (HOW CAN YOU KILL FLYNN?! HE'S TOO HANDSOME! JUST LOOK AT HIS SMOLDER!) to get her wishes though really creeps me out. Her death was one of the best for a villain ever too. I like how she didn't die from the fall as well... And I see the
Magnificent Bitch qualities too. Now that I think more about it, she kind of reminds me of Gaston. Similar sort of motivation. They don't want to take over the world, they're just self-obsessed.

Discussions about the generator and desserts/foods of all kinds.
BTW, Mousa, nice work so far on the drawings. : )

THE PIRATE ALWAYS TELLS LIES. THE PARROT ALWAYS TELLS THE TRUTH.
You missed a discussion on desserts, food, and Twilight. I'm not sure if this should even be a MLP thread anymore

Cool group pic Mousa. I like Braeburn's look.
@ilse it also comes from the fact that I honestly think she cared for Rapunzel, at least a little, in a way that wasn't related to her hair (I know that's a controversial issue though and I don't have much evidence for it)
She manipulated two dangerous criminals into working for her. Planted seeds of doubt into Rapunzel's mind. Sent Flynn to his death in a way that would both keep her hands clean and make it seem as though he had abandoned Rapunzel, then disposed of her own newly aquired goons in a way that made it look as though she was rescuing Rapunzel. If that ain't MB quality work I don't know what is
"Contests fought between two masters are decided instantly. An invisible battle is now raging between the two of them." Lulu vs Schneizel
Cake cake cake cake cake cake cake. My favorite is German chocolate.
I loved Mother Gothel... I think she may have had some attachment to Rapunzel beyond her hair, but might not have wanted to admit it to herself. Still, her body language and actions all point to it being the hair only(even really tiny details - note that when she kisses Rapunzel it's always on top of her head - on her hair). Still, having a villain who was emotionally manipulative as opposed to physically villainous was really cool.
Oops. I meant Twilight the
literature writing.
And I kind of agree Ginger. I think she may have cared a little about Rapunzel but her need for her hair outweighed any love she had for her. And I said I agreed with the
Magnificent Bitch interpretation too. She doesn't have powers, yet manages to do so much...
The Element of Procrastination
The way I saw it:
"I love you very much." (Gothel speaking honestly to Rapunzel) "I love you more." (Rapunzel speaking to Gothel.) "I love you most." (Gothel to Rapunzel's HAIR)

Like some conjure of all cakes put into one.
Hm, I'd say Celestia would enjoy a nice almond cake. So delicious...
