I've never watched Glee, I couldn't see the appeal.
Gully Foyle is my name,
and Terra is my nation.
Deep space is my dwelling place,
and death's my destination.
Oh God, I almost forgot to mention, a Carolina-style (just being specific so nopony gets confused over types of barbecue) barbecue sandwich, with cole slaw and Texas Pete hot sauce = heavenly. I could eat ten of them and still want more.
It's probably easier to
Write What You Know.
If there is anything that you are alone in thinking, it's "thinking that you're alone in thinking of your theories".
Season 3 episode 3.
And I mean abnormal realism. If we got true realism, it would be too boring. I mean that I like it when it's just the right amount of far out that I can see it happen in real life.
The fact that I know absolutely no one who would not be impressed with someone that can sing and dance with incredible talent just annoys me
Actually, now that I think it through, that's about the only thing that truly annoys me with the show. Also, why does everyone still hate homosexuals? I live in God-dang freakin'
Texas and I have NEVER met anyone that homophobic.... I think that's more of a pet peeve though
BTW, I love the show.

@JT The characterization thing would probably still fall under "believability, " but yeah...
@JT Yeah, In my college class, I was the only one who made a film with even a hopeful ending. My class is OBSESSED with
True Art Is Angsty. because it's "more realistic" apparently.
Also, I too was the only one who decided to get fantastical
"Contests fought between two masters are decided instantly. An invisible battle is now raging between the two of them." Lulu vs Schneizel
JT: yeah, I meant that the characterization and character reactions in the show kind of annoy me. I don't care if they suddenly stop and start dancing. I don't care if a bear comes out into the stage all of a sudden. I like artsy things in my media and things that are far out. But I want my characters to behave like real people would behave if they were in that situation.
The Element of Procrastination
I never myself never understood why realism and fantasy have to be mutually exclusive.
Gay, Autistic, Nerd, Gamer, Gleek, Brony, Writer, Fan, Master Of The Ever Changing Avatar, Mad Man.
I am in fact awesome.
I actually really like documentaries
But fantasy is always a big favorite.
The Element of Procrastination
Personally, the only time musicals start to grate is when the film itself is ABOUT singing and dancing.
Hearing about how the characters are going to fail because they can't rehearse enough rings kind of hollow when they seem to be capable of singing perfectly choreographed musical numbers on the fly any other time.
@Mage Well, the realism of the warfare in ASOIF drives me nuts soemtimes

@Ginger: Yeah, I don't get that either.
Oh God! That's so boring! D:
I remember in the 8th grade I wrote a short story about a young girl and her brother who were transported into another land and had to get some talisman or something or other. Pirates were involved. Cause pirates are awesome. I suspect my character was a
Mary Sue and that the plot was full of cliches XD
