Renly. Obviously.
@ Lurker: To be fair now we're looking at the possibility of Hearth's Warming Eve guys.
@ Ginger: Doesn't have the rightful claim and seems to be to (relatively) bloodthirsty. Like the Greyjoys.

No idea... there's no leader as nuts as her
I kinda would've wanted Pudinghead to be Stannis so that Davos could've been Smart Cookie Then who's Stannis?

Who the fuck is Smart Cookie then? Loras?
That's what I was considering when deciding the characters as well, their companions.
Seriously though, imagine if Westeros was besieged by windigos

You people still talking about ASOFAI? Pfft. Wheel of Magic is where it's at.

Sigh, and I'd read Wheel of Time too, but I'm unsure if I can trust Mage's council on villains anymore
There are no Magnificent Bastard examples on the WOT page for one

Yeah, Eragon gets a bad rap for being derivative and for the protagonist slipping into Marty Stu territory in the second book. Luckily it's actually salvaged really well in the second half of the series with a lot of the "I'm better than you" arrogance from earlier either having consequences or simply being disproven outright. It's not the best fantasy series ever, but it's certainly enjoyable.

Good morning afternoon. I liked the first Eragon book when I read it, but after that I couldn't go on. Much the same how I felt about Twilight.

But are the villains any good?
All I know of Eragon is Spoony's thoughts on it, and the final battle of the movie
