I have 2 explanations for the cake other than the balance thing:

1. He's been holding it up for who knows how long already. 2. The house wasn't on top of him; he wasn't supporting it's full weight. It's much easier to drag something that weighs a ton than to lift something that weighs a ton.

Wow, I never thought of Julia Child. Nice reference.

I wonder if this would be a good introductory episode to show people. Though the beginning of the episode is a bit overly long.

@ Ginger and apple, also remember that the "Pinkie sized pile of custard" was only a hollow shell. The cake was much, MUCH bigger.

Still, if she can bounce back from a hollowed out Custard mould of herself in about a second, that cake-belly should be gone in about 30 seconds I'd say

In anycase, Ginger if you're video game type and have a Wii, I suggest you play Super Paper Mario, great story, wonderful characters and villain, I think you'll like it.
