Yes. I could possibly be friends with an affable murderer... but a SMUG Murderer... grrrrr
Must be why you love Manfred von Karma so much.
If there is anything that you are alone in thinking, it's "thinking that you're alone in thinking of your theories".
I really didn't get Twilight as being all that smug; I think she was just happy that Pinkie was taking her advice, and that it was paying off.
Kinda weird how Twi is giving a "Don't Jump to conclusions" aesop when in the next episode an apparent "dark secret" is going to put Twi on edge regading SA's marriage to Cadence
Given how these things tend to work, the dark secret will merely be something innocuous and Twi will have just been overeacting

@story male antagonists get a free pass on being smug too

"Contests fought between two masters are decided instantly. An invisible battle is now raging between the two of them." Lulu vs Schneizel
It's a season finale. I highly doubt it will end up with Twilight overreacting.
I'm guessing that the secret will be something that actually seems credible. At least in "It's About Time", the reason looked legitimate.
The jump to conclusions thing made me think of Bridle gossip and Luna Eclipsed.

I thought it was awesome. The only substantial issues are the the opening scenes are a bit long, and that the other ponies were kinda OOC when they ruined the cake.
How the hell was that trampoline gonna protect anything?

The trampoline was just there so that if the cake fell, it would bounce and land comically on an unsuspecting background pony. You always have to be prepared for cheap slapstick humor.
Well, I'm caught up. And I liked the episode. I don't think there's anything wrong with it, but it's still not my favorite~~
And Ginger: Sexism! D:<
But the tacos I bought are really good. Really expensive for tacos though... ><

As seen in Best Night Ever, MLP trampolines have an innate magical breaking field that allows them to arrest the velocity of falling objects so that they hang safely in the air above the trampoline.

@kegi: Oh god. Now I can't stop seeing it. It's horrible yet I can't look away.
