@ Enlong, he was the Big Bad from the first ever MLP mini-series/made for TV movie. He's basicly a Satan expy. G1 was infamous for having some pretty damn dark villians. He's a Satanic centaur/Satyr hybrid that enslaves ponies and transforms them into demonic dragons.

Tirac was the very first villain in the entire My Little Pony franchise, and a deliciously terrifying baddie for a little girl's show. First ever to die by the rainbow, and apparently Luna was channeling him with her plot for an eternal night.

@whathisname: Celestia and Roid pony drink Ponythirst, made with real Friendship! It's spicier than Real Rainbows!

@ Ginger, the first one the Big Bad is the Sm'uze, though he's not till the very end, the main villian's are expies of the three witches from that episode, as such the leader is pretty competent, ruthless and vicious, the two underlings are a bit bumbling but still a major threat.

@Ace: Speaking of the Smooze, I thought that the way the ponies looked and acted after being Discorded reminded me of what happened to anyone who got Smoozed. In both cases they acted meaner and definitely grumpier and less helpful than their usual selves, and while the Smooze didn't turn their whole bodies grayer, it is a purplish-gray ooze.
