I didn't think it was so much that Twilight was feeling superior to Pinkie, it was that she was really getting into the whole detective thing. She was probably really excited when she realized that she was getting the chance to live out a detective story.

Oh, I'll completely agree that it's sexist, doesn't hange the fact that smugness is one of the worst things we as a species have ever invented, and for some reason I find it many times worse when it's a woman... I swear it's the sound of their voices and not the fact that they're girls though

@Ginger: I hate smugness too. It's one of the reasons Yakko Warner from Animaniacs used to annoy me so much (that along with his Lovable Pervert personality) and why my least favorite character from Harry Potter is Lucius Malfoy (and the movies do TOO good a job at making him smug in a way that makes me want to punch the screen in most of his scenes).

Twilight was great this episode. She really seemed to enjoy detective work. Maybe she and Pinkie should become private detectives.

@Ginger: Like you with Pinkie, I probably wouldn't hate Lucius and Draco as much as I do if it weren't for the fact that they have fangirls who do the whole Draco in Leather Pants thing or think they're "cool" or gush about Lucius having a "pimp cane."
