Something that's been bugging me. What are the different legit ways to spell griffin? I say that because I feel about "griffins" the way Tolkien felt about "elfs."

Sorry, my mind is full of two much love for that scene.

Gustav was great. The only obnoxious thing I can think of was saying his eclairs were the best. When everyone else was the same towards their own desserts.

@CDRW: I've been spelling it as griffon, but that's just because I wasn't sure if it was an i or an o, so I tried it with an o first and the spellcheck didn't protest. I didn't realize either way was acceptable.

This episode was all kinds of funny. The imagination spots were my favourite. Though I found the moose head at the top of the cake a bit creepy. Anyone else started craving cake, pastry, and chocolate?

I've got a craving so bad I'm looking for a recipe that combines all of them together.

Pinkie would eat the most cake, but the Princess would eat the most ''delicious'' cake.

Now that I think about it, Pinkie really did have a good reason to name the bakers her prime suspects at the outset. Her conclusions and scenarios, though, were just plain batty.

Ginger, what did you think of the hat-switching thing? I know you were worried about Pinkie being the Sherlock figure.

Personally, I'm a bit annoyed that the hat situation switched, because on second thought, Pinkie and Twilight make a very good Holmes and Watson, if you're going by the original setup. Watson was actually very bright, and Holmes was nearly too strange to function, at times.

So, final thoughts. Not as predictable as expected! (I was wrong on both guesses -_-). Also, so many references! A good episode over all. No flaws that I can think of. Now to catch up on the thread!

Honestly I thought Mulia Mild was way worse than Gustav. Mulia's voice annoyed me when she spoke, but Gustav had class. Dude was carrying around a spotlight for the sole purpose of bragging about his eclairs. I can get that shit at a 711 for a buck 50, and he had a spotlight dedicated to his.

He's like the showman of chefs. I respect that.

Oh yeah, Pony Joe's evil laugh. Forgot about that... he's a mad baker!
