Oh yeah, I read Best Night Ever too. I really liked it. I liked how it took him a while. A LOOOOOONG time for him to become a "good" character again. I don't know. I think it's because I love redemption stories. I just don't think there are many people who are truly evil to the core. I see Blueblood as more of a spoiled prince than as a true Jerk.

Speaking of the theoretical RP, I should have the complete outline for character creation done tonight. Once that's done the only other things needed are an overview of the combat system and lots and lots of Skills.

In addition to the Fortress faction, I enjoy playing both the Tower and Rampart factions.
I like Necropolis because of the vampires and because you can make your own skeletons/zombies/wights. Incidentally, wriaths are great for trolling. I remember one time, an AI hero had wriaths split into the max amount of stacks, then it attacked me and retreated on the first turn. What a jerk.
Japan is one of the few areas that come up commonly on the Internet where I have no knowledge whatsoever.

My disdain for Blueblood is more of a personal thing. I also dig redemption stories, I just find Blueblood too unpleasant to want to hang around long enough to see it. Also, and this might be a bit sadistic of me, I prefer his character when bad things are happening to him.
