@Ginger We're not talking about sockpuppeting. We were talking about starting up a play-by-post pony RPG earlier today, which I'm still totally up for doing, by the way. We just need to brainstorm on what system to use.

In terms of systems to use, I'm partially to using Savage Worlds. It's easy to learn and an actual pony conversion exists.

Would it be kosher to play the RP equivalent of a one-shot character? My interest usually wanes after a while (unless the game itself dies first).

Care to link to that system, Drenius? If the conversion legwork is already done for us, that would make a great choice.

@Kyler In games I've GM'd in the past, I've let people join up for as long as they want, then turn their characters into NP Cs when they drop until I can effectively write them out. At least for me, the more the merrier.

They let you do cool stuff, such as trying to negate damage or rerolling a skill check or immediately recover from being knocked loopy.

The doc is a little glitchy. Some things are off-center and some things are only partially loaded. Does it not play nice with Firefox or something?

I'm not sure, I'm on safari. I could also link you to the previous version and see if that works better for you. Oh wait, I'm having trouble reading on DA too, I downloaded the revised version and it displays properly that way though.

I was looking at that picture of Soarin from the wedding pictures a bit more carefully, and did a bit of digging. On Soarin's Right sleeve(Which is more than likely a formal military uniform), we see three yellow bars. Now, Studio B is Canadian, and The Canadian airforce uses yellow bars on the sleeves to signify rank in the airforce... so From his sleeve, he's either a Major, or a Lieutenant Colonel. Most likely Major, based on the spacing. That's a pretty high-up-there rank. That's pretty cool, actually. I wonder what military flying is like in Equestria.
