You know, the way Applejack is shown playing that fiddle would almost be believable if she was wrapping her hoof around the neck of the instrument like Octavia does. As it stands, though, she looks like she'll be playing some pretty monotone music.

Actually, my theory is that Luna sleeps through the day, and therefore is unable to attend daytime activities, but she can attend the reception that evening. Celestia has spent 1000 years covering for Luna, so she's much better adjusted to getting less sleep.
