Really, making it rain on somepony isn't that bad. I mean, the CMC regularly causes worse stuff than that, and it's not like they couldn't have just walked out from under the cloud. At worst it's like dumping a drink on somebody's head; it's kind of a dick move, but it's not like you punched them or something.

no pony displayed out right HATRED, they were just upset with them, and remeber every single time we see anypony shunning them, they were going up to said pony EXPLICITLY looking for a new story about them. Further more, soon as they apologized, they were quickly forgiven.

Someone mentioned before that Ponyville always has exaggerated reactions to everything. In most stories like this, a similar thing happens to the authors of the journalism. Sometimes, they have to exaggerate the reaction to prove a point.

Fair point. The thought of the garbage on those pages worming its way onto the actual articles is one disturbing thought.

Ah, watched the episode several hours back on Xyro's stream. And it was great! Only thing that irked me was (half of) the town's reaction .

Also, let's not get into a DMOS-debate here. It serves a purpose here ( it's not garbage - just misused frequently) but, this thread is about ponies and things related to them. That topic should be rather discussed in Wiki Talk...

But anyways, earlier I had a quite strange dream. Apparently, I was interviewing both of Spike's parents somewhere. Sadly, I couldn't get a good look at them.
