I wouldn't go to John Carter, apparently it sucked balls and is one of the largest flops in Hollywood history.

Hunger Games is at least a decent movie.

Bit of late posting for me but my favorite part of today's episode was when they were all getting hooficures and rarity wiggles her legs in the air when she's telling Rainbow how wonderful they feel.

Which, John Carter? Yes, much better than it sounds. The biggest complaints against the movie are that it took some liberties with the book to 'explain' the mechanics of how John got to Mars, but it's hardly obtrusive, and the exposition isn't really heavy. The action is amazing, the CG cast is really well done if not at avatar levels, and it's all generally well acted and written. It is a very good movie, one of the better ones I've seen recently.

Flopping doesn't necessarily make something bad.

@L Mage I thought it flopped because Disney did a horrible job with adverising. Plus, "John Carter" is a really vague name, and not particularly interesting.

I guess their advertising didn't work. The first time I heard of the John Carter movie was from an article in The Economist making fun of it.

Grr... a week old and still stuck on 10 minute delay. *grumble*

I would assume those hoof gloves are a fakey product for April Fools but if they get enough interest they might actually make them. Think Geek has produced quite a few of their April 1st joke items.

I personally think those hoof gloves are dumb, and besides... they dont come in Gray!

I doubt I'll even see anyone tomorrow aside from my roommates and parents. And my dad actively tries to troll me anyways, so I've learned not to believe most of what he says.
