@Magic Food: Let's put it this way, at least Pocahontas shows people getting very seriously hurt. It's a different branch of the conflict, too - Pocahontas deals with the strife as the Pilgrims were getting set up, and "Over A Barrel" is closer to Manifest Destiny.

This should be a game. Turn names of things into Ponies.

I think alcohol could somehow be introduced into it.

First person to ponytize a name assigns a shot to someone else, unless they can come up with a better name, in which case the first person has to take two.

Well someone has to be the "least pretty" even if it is by subjective standards. I merely thought that Twilight was supposed to be that due to her role as the bookworm (stereotyping I know but I'm trying to think like the writers)

I have almost nothing but love for Twilight (primarily because of how Adorkable she is.

What do you think is the most endearing little trait that any member of the mane cast has? Like those little character touches that aren't exactly ocused on, but make them that much more loveable?

I wouldn't call it offensive, although I agree that "Ugliest" is a terrible way to put it given the Generic Cuteness at play here. The only "ugly" ponies who aren't really old are probably Snips and Snails, and even then they border on Ugly Cute. But even so, as has been said, there probably is a "least pretty" member of the cast. We just don't know who that would be because no one in the show ever really comments on it. Rarity and Fluttershy are probably at the top of the list, but other than that I got nothing.

Ugliest is a misleading term in this case anyway. Its like being given a line up of cakes and being told to pick out the most disgusting. Sure there might be a least cute pony, but that in no way implies that they are ugly. Not to mention the general assishness of suggesting that the least attractive pony is the worst pony.

Besides, anyone with sense knows that Twilight is the cutest pony anyway.

Okay, I phrased that terribly; I meant that Rarity and Fluttershy would be at top of the overall "prettiness" rankings, not the "least pretty" one. Primarily on the basis that Rarity has actually been shown using her looks to her advantage, and Fluttershy is apparently attractive enough to be a successful model.

Yes, I dont think the writers had that in mind for Twilight. The stereotype that Bookworms are ugly is something I think the writers would try to avoid as much as possible, to show little girls that you arent less pretty just because you like to read and study.

Also my favorite traits of the mane cast.

Twilight: I love how mature and responsible she is, and how hard she tries for her friends. Rarity:I LOVE RARITY! I love that while femenine she has a mind of her own. While somewhat vain she has a huge heart! Pinkie Pie:I LOVE Pinkie Pie1 She is one of, if not my, favorite ponies. I just love her spirit and carefree approach to life! Fluttershy:Awwwwww! What's not to like about Fluttershy? She is pretty, kind yet strong and firm when she needs to be! Rainbow Dash: She was my fave pony in the pilot, I love how adventurous and flashy she is! Applejack:I love her voice and accent, its so cool!

Are you implying that the ugliness=inferiority? because no one here was mentioning that. In fact I'd like it if they DID itentify Applejack or Twilight as the least attractive, because then they could kick untold ammounts of ass and prove that looks don't mean SHIT!

No, I'm implying that others would imply that. And I know no one here mentioned it, I'm talking about in general.

Can you drop this topic allready? All ponies have similar look, none of them look prettier or uglier and whe can't asume any of that until we got canon evidence, but still it will be Informed Attractiveness, Hollywood Homely and Informed Deformity so still not much of proof.

But if you still don't leave this: I call Twilight prettiets pony from Mane Cast, proove me wrong :P

Okay, skipping the last page of conversation.

I've been out of town shopping for the last few hours with my mom and my sister (also getting our car repaired), and one of our stops was Target. I was heading to the electronics section and walked by the kid's toys section... they had an AWESOME My Little Pony display. I hadn't been near a toy section at any store in months, and found it quite impressive... I couldn't stop smiling. Thank goodness my mom and sis were looking at clothes, it would've been quite embarrassing if they'd seen me.

Has anyone else had moments like that?

My dad still doesn't know about my Brony-hood. I shudder to even think about the potential ramifications should he ever find out

Every time when I'm in store I try to look on toy and find MLP, I don't know if anyone who is with me in store manage to seen this.

My parents aren't aware of my bronyhood either. If it comes up I'll direct them to the Know Your Meme page on the show so that they understand that it's not just me, and that there are tons of other guys who are into it.

And it's only a matter of time, really. I already put this on my car. My dad noticed it, although I don't think he's connected it to My Little Pony yet. But still it's only a matter of time before they notice me either watching an episode, or me cracking and investigating a toy store display or something.

Glad to know I'm not alone on this.
