... Well, I'm depressed now.

Was playing phone middleman for my little sister and mom. Little sister is mad at mom for reasons I don't wish to disclose, tells me something to tell mom that I don't interpret as racist, and I end up saying it to mom. She's utterly shocked because it came from my mouth, and has to grab the phone from me, chew little sister out for being stupid, and pull me aside for a talk about my insensitivity.

I want to die right now.

The clones will be weaker than the Mane Cast but make up the difference in weight of numbers.

You know, now all those complaining about pony clones in background becomes funny.

All the background clones have been whoever is behind this practicing for the wedding.

The guards are Red Shirts... in a show that prefers talking down the villain as opposed to fighting them...

They are gonna get DESTROYED!!

@ Ginger, relax, we don't know any context, but what little we can gleam, I'd say it was a clone Pinkie and Twi taking out the real Mane 6. and we don't know how close to the actual ponies the clones are, they could be exact replica's, or some entity that just looks like them while having massively different abilities.

As to why no Celestia being shown fighting instead using the guards, first answer that comes to mind is it IS a villain, a really powerful one, and all three of the Princess (or Two if it captures/takes out/is Cadance) are busy keeping it/him/her occupies while the guards and Mane 6 deal with the mooks and buy time for the rest of the guest to get to safety.

Well, at least the wedding doesn't look like it'll be boring
