Here's a thought for you: If Cadence is related to the two sisters (and there's no reason to believe this isn't the case; alicorns aren't exactly a common occurrence) and Shining Armor is Twilight's brother (assumably), this would make Twilight anything up to Celestia's sister-in-law. Either way, she'll be related to her own mentor.
