so, how do you think the ponies would react to learning human's eat meat?
We've seen Fluttershy feeding fish to some of her animals, and some of there pets (Owlicious, Opal) are obligate carnivore's that can only eat meat....
really, long as what we're eating isn't sapient, I think most of them wouldn't have to big an isue after the initial shock, though they would probably not want us doing so around them

I do admit it's difficult to imagine earth ponies fighting with anything but spears, though they could probably get up on their hind legs to swing swords or axes attached to their hooves.
