Ten minutes is a VERY long time ... or at least it feels that way.

I read Small Gods at least 10 years ago now I'd have to guess.

The most vivid recollection I have of the book is the man who lives on the edge of the desert, keeping all of the small gods alive by believing in them.

I do remember that Om was a one eyed tortoise that a young monk meets while tending a garden.

I shall add that to the list of books to reread.. if I ever get around to reading the pile that hasnt been read yet...

I wonder what sort of cultural connotation the number 3 has in Equestria. Just because a lot of Cutie marks seem to come in iterations of three, I wonder if they've drawn any meaning from that.

@JT - multiple reasons really, Emidawg is what I was known as in the Furry community, I seek to distance myself from them now because they just dont represent what they used to anymore.

Turtlebutter is a moniker Ive gone by for several years now. Ive built up a Pony OC around it and Im generally happier being known by that name.

Its the name of my Paladin in Warcraft. People there know me as TB and Ive gotten far more used to being called by that than Emi Dawg.

Mostly just a personal thing I guess. Dunno, probably very silly of me to be obsessed over a name.
