Celestia turning out to be a homonucleus would probably be the greatest thing that has ever happened in the history of western animation

Yeah, I used to think making Celestia a space alien would be funny enough, but a homonucleus is much better.

Good lord those comics.

Facial expressions and equine limbs do not work that way.

I find it really entertaining that those German comics make Gildedale, the land west of Equestria in Jetfire's "It's A Dangerous Business, Going Out Your Door", canon - Twilight, Applejack and Spike visit a land past the Everfree Forest where magical creatures, unicorns and pegasi aren't trusted, a land covered in golden grain.

The UK comics seem to be shipping Twilight and Pinkie see top right panel of this comic.◊

While the German comics are shipping Twilight and Rarity note that Rarity is sleeping in Twilight's bed and Twilight herself doesn't seem surprised at this.

Is there any shipping fuel in other countries comics, or do I just have Shipping Goggles on?

I'm more focused on Spike. He stares into your soul.

Sometimes when an idea is taken and used by another country the end reult becomes something very strange. As an example, look at Japanese Spider-man, or, if you want to beat your sanity to death with a rusty crowbar you could watch Turkish Star Wars.

WRT real life celebronies; the VG Cats guy once did a pony comic.◊ Also, Dan Drazen recently made a refernce to Friendship is Magic in his latest review. Since he's often mentioned he watched Teen Titans, Code Lyoko and Avatr I'm not at all surprised to learn he's a brony. For those of you who don't know who Dan Drazen is he's a well respected figure in the Sonic community, both writting excellent Sonic related fan fictions and offering review of the Sonic the Hedgehog comic books going into great detail explainin every success and misstep as well as offering ideas for improvement. If you care for Sonic at all check him out.

Also, Spike doesn't say anything. He's like a golem with the task of lusting after Rarity. Creepy.

I think the way they draw Spike makes him look cuter than on the show, though!

I think his eternal glassy stare really makes him look horrifying in comparison to the show.

Just something pertaining to the fic I'm writing: Do you think the room Celestia is in at the end of Griffon the Brush Off is her bedroom, or some kind of lounge/study?

btw, What's the title of that episode supposed to mean? (as in, is it a reference to something or a Shout Out)

I'm suprised that there not much of pics from those comics on Ponychan.

I was thinking of a mythological beast that might end up being a threat to the ponies at some point and I couldn' come up with anything, at least not something that hasn't already been used. We've got hydras, dragons, cockatrices, chimeras and of course, unicorns and pegasi. What kinds of mythical animals do you think we miight see next season. I'm only talking about things that behave like animals here. Mermaids and centaurs and the like would cleary be sapient. Heck, in Equestria the minotaur would likely be some sort of business tycoon. Of course he's also part human and humans are a no-no in Equestria.

It's a particularly bad pun. Apparently they thought "Griffon" sounds close to "Given".
