Hmmm... I'm so lost in this conversation. I think I'll watch it myself. Sees time for Part 1 It's 34 minutes long? D:

Mia gives a MASSIVE speech about how much of a failure Dhalia was and she lost from the moment she arrives in the courtroom
because she's unawarely posessing Maya, who'm she's trying to kill

I dunno. It was less "the game" and more "Mia" saying that.
Whatever Mia said (for the sole purpose of making Dahlia believe that and getting her to become vulnerable to exorcism, mind), Dahlia still murdered a great number of people, both before and after her death. A frighteningly hard-to-stop villain, she was.
Remember,
Mia wanted Dahlia to suffer for what she'd done, and the only way to do that to a ghost was to harm her ego. I do believe her spin on events owould be a little bit, ah, biased, wouldn't you say?

I have a message from another time...
@ Ilse: That's right. Part 2 clocks in at about an hour and fifteen minutes, though.
Pronounced "Sid-zellia"
Fools! You've overestimated me!
@Ils Well worth it. Its entirely voiced and almost perfectly captures the feel of both series'.
Exactly. When I figured it out, I very nearly had a
Despair Event Horizon. I was like 'my god, will
anything stop this woman?'
Can you think inside the chimney?
and no, Bad, I haven't finished T&T. Nothing after the
exorcism
... I don't care about Godot

Figured what out?

Shame, that last part of the case is my favourite part.
Tealove is best pony.

@Ginger: That she was back.
Can you think inside the chimney?
I just wish she could've DONE more in the final case. Compared to her prior appearances, she wasn't NEARLY as impressive

Forgive me for speaking for Red, but I think what he meant was when he figured out that
Dahlia's execution hadn't stopped her plots for revenge, or her murder-spree, at all.

In the last case, she felt more like a force of nature than a person. Wait, maybe not the right analogy. I dunno. Her very presence gave the case this looming sense of forboding. And even with her considerable... handicap, she still managed to mess things up for our heroes, a lot.
The trick lock and her testimony that Maya had killed her come to mind.

@Ginger: The only other thing she would've 'done' is murder Maya or Pearly. So... take your pick. >.>

L mage we are having a heated discussion about Turnabout storm and the Phoenix Wright series.
@Red but what made her so interesting and competent for ME was how manipulative and calm and calculating she was. To me, she felt like she was on the defensive the entire trial and her trademark calculating nature wasn't as strong

Ace Attorney is a game about laywers.
Tournabout Storm is a pony crossover with it.

To me, I got the impression of
"I've already won. Do your worst. What are you going to do? Kill me? Ahahaa...". Until the exorcism, I had the distinct feeling that she wasn't on the defensive at all. That she no longer needed to play up the charm, hide behind her looks, because there was nothing they could do to her.

For example, the ending of the 4th trial was an
AWESOME moment for Dhalia

But then it turns out that she'd lost from the very beginning. Kinda undermines her

That fourth trial.
Even though I
knew it was going to end horribly, even though I
knew that there was no way
Dahlia would get convicted... I was not prepared...

Hey everyone. What we talking about?
I'll do a thing. I don't know. It's a thing in progress. Respect the thing.
Was I the only one going "OH GOD YES! You
Magnificent Bitch!" during trial 4?
Probably. I guess I'm just weird that way
