Yeah, I did a fair amount of that. To be fair, you kind of have to to get through Brightmoon Tor.

But even the general stuff (Blood Price Doublecasting Summoner, Bulwark/Sneak Attack Ravager/Raptor, Dual-Wielding Paravir Frimelda) didn't get me anywhere in that last mission.

So, I started the game over again, and got to have the fun of building up my clan once more.

Ok a pony racing game that has mario cart like tracks and mechanics but no carts.

This fandom has a bad habit of genuinely hating characters like her (there are already people crying for Trixie's blood over her portrayal in TS)

Re: Turnabout Storm: On one hand, proof that obvious has never been accurate in a Phoenix Wright game. On the other, this is a fan production and strictly amateurish mysteries might be the best the writers can manage.

Funny you should show up at this moment, Red. Ginger's talk about Gilda had me thinking about your "Gryphon A Second Chance" fic.

However, the writers mentioned somewhere there will be some Gryphon O Cs... Plus, they may pill a partial-reverse Red Herring on us.

To be fair, Gilda's a pretty big jerk (and a petty thief) and that can be a real berserk button for some people. Especially since she picked on an old mare (and Fluttershy, who a lot of people probably identify with in that situation).

As for people getting riled over Trixie in Turnabout Storm, that's people getting riled over fanon. Which is fine, but they shouldn't carry it over into canon conversations.

@Syd: Yeah... I've just been thinking that I need to finish and post at least chapter 5 of Gryphon before I get started on any Mass Effect fic. Before I do either of those, though, I need to finish a paper due a week from today. XD

@Syd Oh, I love TS!Trixie, it's just the people who genuinely seem to HATE her get on my nerves.

Me too. It's so weird when I watch videos of the actual games and noone talks. But I guess that's what Let's Plays are for.

I love to hate TS!Trixie. She is almost absolutely perfect in that role.

So I dropped by Mc Donald's for lunch and got myself a pony. I tried to get the cashier to get me Applejack, but I got Twilight instead. :|

You mean part 2? Yep, it's about three times as long as the first.

No case 2 of the games. The one where Mia Fey gets murdered.

@Yeller: Yeah, the cases get longer as the game progresses. The fourth case is always very, very long and incredibly convoluted.

@Ginger: What exactly is Trixie's role in Turnabout Storm? Prosecutor, I'm guessing?

Either part 3 will be fairly short and part 4 will be horrendously long. Or it's a 3 day case and part 3/4 will both approach feature film level lengths.

Yep. She gets a lot of comparisons to Manfred Von Karma for some reason.

That's too bad. She might still turn out to be one of the prosecutors with honor, though - like Edgeworth, or Justice For All Franny, or *sniff* Godot.

Part one was first day investigation and part two was the first trial. Now the question is will part 3 be just the day two investigation or will it include the second days worth of trials also? And will part 4 be just a trial or will it include a whole nother days worth of investigations?

... I don't like Godot.

Re: Gilda.

Well, it's a bit of an odd thing to describe, with me. She's just... not a pleasant person. Not to the extent that I'd be screaming for blood, even if I was the kind of person to do that in any case, but she's just not the kind of person that I would want around me.

In a strange way, she's a self-centered as Trixie, but in a different way. Trixie wants all eyes on her, while Gilda seems to assume that it already is. She also seems to assume the worst of people. Rainbow Dash is her friend alone, the party pranks were aimed at her specifically, Pinkie was out for revenge, etc. She's an interesting character, depending on how she's done but I wouldn't want to be around someone like that.

edit: I... Hm... I liked Godot, but I suppose Edgeworth remains my favorite Prosecutor. Godot was interesting, but I think my opinion of him may be unduly colored by my love for the game itself. T&T had so many good cases.

@ Red: Yep, Trixie is the prosecutor. She's prosecuting Rainbow Dash to get back at Twilight for showing her up in Boast Busters.
