Mass Effect fans didn't expect the Tomino Ending they got.

Good lord. I finally decide not to avoid the thread for fear of spoilers on the actual episodes, and now I find myself wondering if I'm going to need to avoid it for fear of Mass Effect spoilers? Oh, pony thread.

What kind of shit ending is this?

The Gainax Ending kind?

The Xen Syndrome kind?

The Abrupt and unsatisgying kind?

Also, Wing power is measured in Pidgeotos

I expect wing power is measured by some average based on the minimum power needed for pegasi to fly.

Abrupt and unsatisfying, mostly because of the numerous plot holes it introduces out of nowhere. Some entity just shows up, tells you it created the enemy you've been fighting the entire series, along with a bullshit explanation of why he did so, and give you three options on how to win, none of which make any sense. Then your ship crash lands on an unknown planet, despite being in battle above Earth moments ago, with your crew on board, despite them being on Earth moments ago, all for some cheesy Adam and Eve ending.

Honestly, 95% of the game was fantastic and absolutely worth playing, but it's shocking how bad that ending is.

Oh no, don't tell me you've been sucked into the Pokemon frenzy too. You've probably got a move list and everything now.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I wouldn't spoil something from another show/game/whatever without spoiler tags.

To be fair, up until about 15 minutes ago we WERE discussing pegasi flight speeds.

And how I wish someone (who isn't Fluttershy) in Ponyville could compare with RD

I know about ending, it don't sound that bad. But maybe I'm to forgiving because of fact that ME 3 have my kind of story - hopeless war against powerful alien force.

My only problem it fact that this focus to much on saving that Dirtville planet.

@Ginger. Eeeyup, Saren and the Illusive Man are great villains. And that ending was bullshit of the highest order.

I think, rather than RD consciously trying to coax FS to do better by dragging her into all these situations, FS has just gotten better to cope with RD doing it spontaneously

@Ginger: I'd recommend it. The ending may be easy (and, to be honest, a little fun) to bitch about, but it's ten minutes out of a trilogy I've played multiple times and enjoyed the hell out of.

Anyway, this is a pony thread, so I wonder why Fluttershy's involvement in the next episode is important. They've got plenty of other pegasi.

Sovereign is best villain.

And I'm not sure I will like Illusive Man, I hate Cerberus.

You also have spoilers, we don't know about Saren motivation at start.

@Ginger: Thing is, Dashie has been "pushing" Fluttershy since as early as Dragonshy, where her response to Flutter's panic attack is full of disappointment. In the Cold Open for Sonic Rainboom, she practically shouts in Flutter's face to give LOUDER cheers like a drill seargant, or perhaps a flight school instructor, and Flutters doesn't have a panic attack of some kind, implying she's been through boot camp like Dashie. Also, for The Last Roundup and Secret of my Excess, she's the one who actually keeps up with Dashie for the action scenes, and despite the drag/air resistance of a hot-air balloon, she can catch up to a weighed-down Discorded Dashie during the S2 premiere.

Yeah, I'll give you that point.

I just don't think RD is doing it purely for her sake. In Sonic Rainboom at least, RD was being strict towards FS as a cover to mask how nervous she was.

In my eyes she just EXPECTS FS to be good, so she puts a lot of faith in her. FS is just getting better so she can survive the stuff RD pulls her into

The graph represents upness. You can see that the second town has a larger bar than the first, which means good things for someone somewhere.

I liked ME 1 even with all crashes what it had on my PC.

BTW What way everybrony played? I mostly played Paragon.

I'm looking at the X axis. There appear to be two towns being compared. A city with Tall buildings (maybe Manehattan) and a city with Small buildings (presumably Ponyville)

The ponyville one has a larger bar

I figure it's her showing how much water last year's city produced, and how much she wants Ponyville to beat them by.

I also went mostly paragon, but I could never resist the renegade interrupts when they showed up in the second game.

I hate Renegade Shepart, most times he is just racist brute. I went renegade only few times (but I propably change few of them, because I want to met that Bataran terrorist in ME 3. You want crappy ending? See full renegade ending for ME 1 (if that would be canon I would never touch series again).

I'm the same way. I don't think it helps that most dark side paths in games are less about being a realistic and compelling villain, and more about being a petty dick.
