Rainbow Dash is still an employeed weather pony. I guess roping in somepony like Fluttershy is a lot more questionable, but maybe they just need all the help they can get.

they need the extra pony power, and they trust there head representative in the choosen town to have a team that can do it, or if the town can't supply enough qualified pegasi to then request help.
i'm sure if RD asked for some help she'd get it, the ponyville team just wants to prove they can do it themselves.

I think Flutterrage counts as Wrath. Flutterbitch could also qualify.

Rarity does have Lust elements; classically lust doesn't necessarily have to refer to sexual desire.
I guess this means I'm going to have to change my scripts to make them case and space insensitive.
