Well, I know the date is based on the position of the sun, so sometimes it is on the 20th. It's the same way that the winter solstice is sometimes on the 22nd or the 21st. I'm not actually sure about that though. It is possible that it is tomorrow and I just forgot XD

It's also possible that they just hold the baby or use some kind of bed or something while giving birth as a precaution. After all, the cake twins were put in the little baby trolleys. It would make sense for a Cloudsdale baby to have a little bed on standby. I mean, Rainbow seems to have furniture in her giant cloud house.

I'm of the opinion that when a mixed-breed pony is born they'll retain some traits from both species - hence why Pound Cake was already strong enough to fly and lift Pinkie while doing so. So even if a EP or a Unicorn is born to a pegasus, they can still walk on clouds.

Just, you know. Make sure they're on the cloud.

Also, when a baby is born, there's usually at least one human that holds it while it... comes out. I imagine it's the same for ponies. Unless someone drops it XD

What do you think Rainbow Dash is doing? She's the head weather pony for Ponyville, and as such she IS an official representative of Cloudsdale. Also, I'm sure they ask the town mayor/population etc.. id it's alright for them to use the choosen water source. They probably have a lot of math done to figure out which exact water source will give them the most water for the lowest ground impact each year.

Maybe the ability to walk on clouds would be passed along like the temporary immunity babies get from their monthers when they are born. Doesnt last forever but long enough for the baby to be taken to the proper environment.

Well we do know that ponies study some fairly advanced math.

@Jt just read the review. I am with you in that it would be awesome to have more episodes focusing on the relationship between the caracters and more depth into the world.

But I think this flaw may be cuased by budgest issues and plot issues. It's hard to have all of that in the little time they have and paying all the actresses each episode must be really expensive.

But it would be awesome if it did. I also had some frige briiliance that spike lacked a pet.

I would just add that spike's acctite was perhaps a nod to us people laughed at spike for liking ponies and pony princessses. Bronies too are laughed for liking ponies.
