A fetish can be pretty much anything. A crystal ball can be a fetish; you concentrate on it and you can see the future.
If you can't find it in a book, it doesn't exist. If you can find it in a book, it doesn't exist until I say so.
Its probably a little trinket of some sort that could be used to focus or target a spell on.

One thing I wondered about is how Twilight, Applejack, and Pinkie Pie managed to get around in Cloudsdale. Most of the clouds are disconnected, so being able to walk around won't help.

Same way ponies born there that aren't pegasi get around most likely.

Jumping from cloud to cloud? Or perhaps once they got up there, they had some of their friends reach places they wouldn't be able to reach otherwise. I never really thought about it that much because I was focusing more on enjoying the episode.

I'd rather not, Applelight. They turn into pulp once they hit the ground. I guess if someone could slap a permanency spell on the cloud-walking spell though, that could work.
