Right now he has got six big sisters, and if he spends time with the CMC, he also gets three little cousins, on the other hand it'd be nice to see his biological mother.

We pretty much know that they aren't, unless ponies just change the seasons in Equestria on a whim. Thanks to ContinuityNods, we can kind of figure out a possible timeline, but it doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things.
