Yeah, derails are somewhat common here. ASOIAF, Pokemon, and Zelda seem to be the most common.

@ Purple: It's because the tower that Ho-oh lived in was burnt down and he used his powers to bring back three animals who lived in it and empowered them. I think.

Mewtwo was best movie villain. Maybe Giovanni in Mewtwo Returns.

Quick question, Mewtwo was pretty mmuch completely unstoppable in the first Pokemon movie... How was Giovani able to fight him in Mewtwo returns?

No idea, I never watched Mewtwo Returns.

And Mewtwo being unstoppable is a nice bit of gameplay realism. The only way to ever win is if Mewtwo runs out of PP.

The fact that I was able to spam that move and only that move up to the Elite Four to beat everyone in Generation 1 is what makes Drill Peck awesome in my book

What's so good about Drill Peck?

It's over twice as strong as regular Peck.

And yes, I beat the entire Gen2 Elite Four with a pair of Zapdoses. Even Bruno.

@Purple Dalek: That's Horn Drill. Drill Peck is a relatively powerful Flying-type Pokemon move, but it's not going to automatically KO the opponent.

Drill Peck is an Flying-type move with 80 Power, 20PP, and 100% Accuracy that can hit non-adjacent opponents in triple battles (which only really exist in Gen V and not much)

@ Ginger: Giovanni threatened Mewtwo's clones. They had diverged into two groups so he couldn't protect them all at the same time. Giovanni offered him a choice submit his body to Giovanni or Giovanni would kill his creations.

Zapdos didn't even know electric attacks when you fight him.
