I'm always surprised by the episodes. So far, the most predictable one has been "It's About Time, " but even then, there were still a few twists to keep me interested.

It kinda amazes me how consistently the show makes it obvious that ponies are really badass. Super strong, super tough, and magical too. If Equestria had been part of Middle Earth the ponies could probably handled Sauron on their own.

About the fireproof costume thing, perhaps it really WAS made to be fireproof, either by magic or by a special type of fabric that they have in Equestria. Rarity might even have fabric like that specifically for dealing with dragons and other firebreathing creatures.
